FG Sign MOU Worth #25BN with Tuns Farm For National Egg Production Scheme without Due Process

Oh, so the Federal Government of Nigeria led by our honest and integrity scion President Buhari signed a MOU with one single farm Tuns Farm worth 25bn Naira for the National Egg Production Scheme to supply eggs alone for the FG feeding program and nobody asked when the bid was thrown open and how Tuns Farm won the bid. With Buhari’s integrity I am sure it was thrown open to everyone and not a deal sealed in secret.

So I hunted for the website of this big contractor who is to coordinate farms in about 774 local governments in Nigeria dealing with multiple farmers in each local govt, below is their website.

National Egg Production SchemeIt’s a free WordPress site with no security whatsoever. This is not an issue but how did this single farm win this contract, guessing the ability to use latest tools and technology in information and logistics management is not a criterion?

Tuns claim to have partnered with UAC, KFC, COBB AFRICA, TROUW NUTRITION, SHOPRITE, MASTER MEAT and many others.

They also have some images of confectioneries, bottling company, chicken products, baked products and so on they claim to be theirs.

One begins to wonder, since our president is corrupt free, neither does he condone corruption, how come this kangaroo awarding of contract of such magnitude without advertisement nor was any bidding process followed?

Also, how come the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) is silent in this matter?

Tuns Farm has TUNS International Holdings Nigeria Limited as its parent company.

One may also ask, is there any relationship between our Agric Minister Audu ogbeh and Tuns farms? (Just asking some questions)

Nigerians cannot continue to take this. Settlement of politicians in the name of contract should stop.

Award of contract without prosecution must stop.

The young entrepreneurs in Nigeria must not die of hunger while the old business men continue feeding on our resources alone.
