Interview with Rajarathinam Ganasekarapandian, CEO of Uplogic Technologies
In this Interview, Techpreneur Rajarathinam Ganasekarapandian shared with The Total Entrepreneurs how his passion for technology drove him into creating the foremost IT company – Uplogic Technologies. Rajarathinam is the CEO of Uplogic Technologies. Briefly tell us about yourself, your experience, and your current business?
I am Rajarathinam Ganasekarapandian – CEO of Uplogic technologies. I have a total of 10 years of experience in software development and business management. Furthermore, I have a total of 14 years of IT experience, including 10 years in software development. My current company is Uplogic Technologies, which provides IT solutions to businesses of all sizes.
What attracted you to this position?
For me, this position is a great opportunity to pursue my passion for technology. Additionally, I am eager to contribute my experience and skills to build Uplogic into an even more successful company than it is currently.
What are the roles of a CEO in your opinion?
The CEO is the leader and a visionary of the company. The CEO should have strong business acumen, be able to think out of the box, and be a good team player. The CEO should be able to manage the company’s vision, strategy, and operations.
In order for a CEO to be successful, what qualities are necessary?
The CEO must have excellent leadership skills, good communication skills, and optimistic attitudes. The CEO must also be able to build a team for the company and motivate them. It is important for the CEO to make sure that all employees are happy because if they are not happy with their work environment, they will not be able to deliver their best results.
What year did you start Uplogic Technologies? What led you to start it?
I started Uplogic on January 1st, 2017 after retiring from my previous employer. Uplogic is a specialized services company with expertise in developing custom web and mobile applications using the latest technologies available. We specialize in developing innovative solutions to customers’ business problems using the latest technologies available to meet their needs today as well as tomorrow.
We have clients all over the world. In addition to our strong customer base, we also provide consulting services to various companies within India. We provide services for both small businesses and large enterprises.
Our focus is on providing high-quality service at an affordable cost without compromising on quality or service levels. As a result, our customers are very happy with the results we deliver and continue to use our services regularly for their ongoing projects and new requirements.
For what services and products does Uplogic develop mobile app development services?
Uplogic develops mobile app development services for various industries. We have 380+ happy clients in the transportation, financial services, healthcare, and education sectors. We have also developed mobile apps for several Indian companies.
What is your role in overseeing Uplogic’s management activities?
I play a very active role in our management activities. I am always available when my team needs me. Furthermore, I have a very open dialogue with them and encourage them to take chances with new ideas. Uplogic is a small company, but we are growing at an impressive rate, which is something that I am very proud of.
What are the latest innovative technologies you use while designing mobile apps?
We use a variety of cutting-edge technologies. We use AngularJS and the latest version of HTML to develop our mobile apps. AngularJS is an open-source JavaScript framework that has been developed by Google, and it uses HTML5 as its framework. We use the latest version of HTML5, which is 5.1, in all our mobile apps.
Can you describe some of the challenges you faced and how you dealt with them?
Working in the technology industry is full of challenges. There are times when you need to make tough decisions, but that is what I love about working in this industry. Also, technology moves so fast that it is important for a company like ours to move at the same pace and not get left behind.
How should one select the most suitable platform for web & mobile application development?
The selection of the platform is very important. I have seen many companies that are not able to make the right decision at the right time. If a company can select the right technology and platform, then there are no challenges that come their way.
I think it is important for an entrepreneur to take your time and research extensively before selecting the best platform for mobile application development. I would suggest you read articles on websites such as TechCrunch, Mashable, Entrepreneur Magazine, etc., and try to find out which technologies are being used by big companies in the industry.
After doing this research you will know which technologies will be relevant in the future and which ones will not be relevant in the future. You should also take into account some other factors while selecting a platform such as cost of development, security of the app, etc.
Please let us know what your distribution strategy is. Which approaches have worked for you to bring your apps to market?
I have been distributing my apps using the most appropriate method. For example, I have seen many companies that sell their apps directly to end-users. This is a very short-term approach, and it is not very effective in terms of revenue generation. You should consider distributing your app in various channels such as Google Play Store, Apple iTunes Store, etc.
Do you follow a method for handling mobile and web app development to meet a client’s deadline?
We always follow the same method. Our development team starts working on the mobile app as soon as we get a new project. As part of our promise, we always deliver a robust app as per our client’s demands on time. We also research the industry and market of our client before starting a project to do that.
What are your thoughts on the key factors driving the rapid rise of new-age technologies such as the Internet of Things and big data?
The rapid growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) is the result of the rising demand for connected devices. IoT is a huge market with a massive scope, and it will continue to grow exponentially in the coming years. Developers should start learning IoT technology to ensure their products are compatible with it.
And about big data, is also another tremendous market with a huge scope. You should focus on the right data, and that is the key to success in this field. At Uplogic, we work on big data and IoT solutions, so we are very aware of the importance of these technologies, and we have built our products to be compatible with IoT.
How Do You Create An Interactive And Addictive User Experience On Mobile Apps And Websites?
Many factors contribute to the success and failure of an app. At Uplogic, we invest in quality, which means that we build apps with a strong user experience. We don’t rush and we always deliver high-quality apps.

Technology has changed drastically over the years, and it will continue to change in the future. We believe that apps are one of the key drivers of this change. A great app can transform an ordinary experience into something extraordinary. It can also be used to improve people’s lives. For example, a healthcare app can help people in need by allowing them to access a doctor without having to travel far away or wait for hours for an appointment.
Describe your enormous achievements so far in the industry.
Our team has been working together since 2010, and we have witnessed the changes that the industry has undergone. We have learned many things along the way, and we hope to continue to do so. With this experience, our team can identify not only what works, but also what doesn’t work very well. This allows us to make better decisions as a company, and it also allows us to provide better service for our clients.
Describe your approach to introducing new updates to your team.
We believe that a good app is something that should be constantly updated. It is important to make sure that your app is always working correctly and that it has the latest features. This helps us to ensure that our clients’ experience with our app will be as pleasant as possible. We also pay close attention to what kind of feedback we’re getting from our clients, and we always try to incorporate new features based on this feedback.
Do you think it is easy to be a developer?
I think being a developer is very easy. It is actually quite enjoyable. The possibilities that you can achieve with technology are limitless, and it is exciting to see where the industry will be in the next few years. Being a developer also means that you have the ability to make an impact across multiple industries. You can use your programming skills to help create new opportunities for yourself and others.
Which books motivate you as a developer?
The book that I’ve always found to be extremely motivating is “The Lean Startup” by Eric Ries. This book has been a huge influence on how I think about developing software. It gives you a great overview of how to approach the development process and helps you keep your focus on the customer.
What keeps you going even in hard times?
I think my biggest asset as a CEO is the ability to overcome challenges. I don’t approach problems in the same way others might. I’m always looking for new ways to overcome obstacles and find solutions that were not even on my radar. This is something that has helped me through many difficult times and allowed me to find success despite tough situations.
What two pieces of advice can you give to someone who wants to become an expert in their chosen field?
The first piece of advice would be to take a step back and look at what you are doing. Ask yourself where you are going in life, what you want to do, and how you want to do it. The second piece of advice is to learn from others. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel all the time. Learn from people who have been successful and make sure that they’ve done what they’ve done well. That will help you on your way to becoming an expert in your chosen field.
What advice would you give to future entrepreneurs or startup companies?
The best advice I can give to future entrepreneurs is to be persistent and never give up. The first time you try something, you might think it’s going to fail. But in reality, the odds are against you at that point. Don’t give up! It will be worth it in the end if you succeed.
